Andra Ayew signs as new Nottingham Forest player, Official and confirmed – Deal until June

Nottingham Forest transfer news: Andre Ayew joins until end of season

Andre Ayew was without a club after leaving Qatari club Al Sadd. According to Sky Sports News, Ayew is on Forest’s 25-man roster, which was submitted to the Premier League on Thursday afternoon. On transfer deadline day, Ayew allegedly showed interest in Everton as well.

The 33-year-old attacker is thrilled to rejoin with Cooper after being without a club after leaving Qatari team Al Sadd.

“Signing with Nottingham Forest is a terrific feeling,” he stated. “I am aware of the club’s size and the significance it holds for the community and its supporters. Every time I’ve played against Forest and at The City Ground, even though I adore the venue, it’s been challenging.

According to Andra Ayew, “Steve Cooper is someone who knows me very well and knows how to work with me both on and off the pitch. We have a strong relationship, he is a spcial coach”

“It’s a great feeling to sign for Nottingham Forest,” said Ayew.

“I know how big the club is and I know how much the club means to the city and the fanbase. It’s always been difficult whenever I’ve played against Forest and at The City Ground and I love the stadium.

“I know what I can bring to the team, I’m ready to give my all and make sure that we are able to stay in the Premier League.”

Before and after his two-year stint with the Hammers, Ayew, whose career began at Marseille, spent two seasons with Swansea.

He has participated in the last three World Cups and has 113 Ghanaian caps.

Ayew joined Al Sadd in July 2021 and helped them win the Qatar Stars League that season by scoring 15 goals in 21 league games. By the time he left, he had scored 22 goals in 39 appearances.

With his participation in the 2022 World Cup, Ayew became the first Ghanaian player to appear in each of the country’s previous three World Cups. He scored in Ghana’s opening group stage match against Portugal. Ayew has 113 international caps for Ghana.
